This policy explains what information codenine.in collects, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it. We've kept it plain — no boilerplate about things this site doesn't actually do.

Who we are

This site is operated by Code Nine, a proprietorship based in Surat, Gujarat, India. For anything in this policy, you can reach us at info@codenine.in.

What we collect

The only personal information this site collects is what you choose to submit through the contact form:

• Name
• Email address
• Company name (optional)
• Project type and budget range (optional)
• Your message

We don't ask for, and this form doesn't collect, any payment details, government IDs, or other sensitive information.

How we use it

Submitting the contact form sends an email to our inbox with your reply-to address set to yours, purely so we can read your inquiry and reply. We don't use it for marketing lists, profiling, or anything beyond responding to you.

How it's stored

The form doesn't write to a database — submissions are sent directly as an email to info@codenine.in and then live in our mailbox like any other email, under our hosting provider's normal mailbox retention. If we go on to work together, the same details may carry over into a project agreement, invoices or a client folder, at which point they're handled as part of that engagement rather than this website.

Cookies & local storage

This site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and there are no third-party analytics or ad-pixel scripts on it. The one thing it stores in your browser is a small flag in sessionStorage (not a cookie) that remembers you've already seen the intro animation once, so it doesn't replay every time you navigate within the same browser tab. It never leaves your browser and clears itself when you close the tab.

Our hosting provider, like effectively all web hosts, keeps standard server access logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, page requested) for security and diagnostic purposes — this is infrastructure-level logging, not something this site adds or accesses directly.

Who we share it with

We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing. We may share it with service providers strictly to operate this site (e.g. our hosting provider, by the nature of running the server) or if required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, at any time — email info@codenine.in and we'll act on it promptly.

Children's privacy

This site is a business website and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects or how we handle it changes (for example, if we add analytics down the line), we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
